Dr. Ruth Abril Stoffels


Ruth Abril Stoffels is a consultant specializing in women's rights with notable expertise in the legal field. Her knowledge encompasses various areas, including International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law, and Children's Rights. Her dedication is reflected in her current interest in adapting university teaching methodologies to the needs of the global market.

From an educational perspective, Ruth focuses on developing skills and abilities demanded by companies, as well as deepening the ethical aspects of work. Ruth has contributed internationally as an Independent Expert at the European Union's Research Executive Agency, providing independent ethical expertise to review proposals for the H2020 call. Her work as a Gender Advisor to the General Commander at NATO, as well as her participation in research projects at renowned institutions such as the University of Oxford, demonstrates her global impact and commitment to crucial gender issues.

Furthermore, she has been a Collaborating Professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where she has taught online courses, primarily in postgraduate Human Rights programs. Her experience as an Academic Visitor at the University of Greenwich Law Society and as an Expert at UN-HABITAT underscores her active involvement in global research and projects.
