The CEU UCH celebrates Women's Day with the presentation of awards to “Women, drivers of innovation”

In 2023, the awarded professors handed out these distinctions to other distinguished women at CEU Cardenal Herrera University for their outstanding academic and scientific work, in an event organized by the Equality Unit under the motto "Empowering Women."

On the occasion of International Women's Day, CEU Cardenal Herrera University (CEU UCH) has bestowed various recognitions upon university professors and research trainees, including the awards "Women Driving Innovation." The lead researchers who received these awards last year have selected the new awardees among pre and postdoctoral students, professors, and researchers at the University. Following two editions of the exhibition, titled similarly, which has spotlighted influential women internationally across various fields of knowledge, CEU UCH recognizes for the second consecutive year the "Women Driving Innovation" within the institution itself.

At the event, presided over by the Vice-Rector for Research, Alicia López Castellano, the awardees received the sculpture "The Atom Flower," crafted through 3D printing at the School of Technical Education, designed by CEU UCH's Industrial Design and Product Development Degree student, Bárbara Ninot Ferrada. The distinguished researchers in the 2024 edition of "Women Driving Innovation" at CEU UCH include professors Gemma Bivia, Carolina Galiana, Ruth Abril, Esperanza Ferrenado, Dunja Lukovic, Paula Martínez Ros, Milagros Mateos, Inmaculada Almansa, Eugenia González, Verónica Veses, Mª Dolores Arguisuelas, Isabel Martínez Solís, Marina Pascual, Teresa Pérez Gracia, Inés González, Ana Belén Riera, Esther Bataller, and predoctoral research trainees Lola Martínez Sáez and Marion Toquet.
